Alex O’Neill

My GIS journey started in 2016, when I began working as a GIS technician working with UAV platforms to combat Zika Virus and improve SAR techniques. Since then, I have continued to hone my geospatial tools, primarily focusing on environmental analysis. I am incredibly passionate about using Geospatial technologies to help others learn about their environment and further their sustainable goals!

When I am not working on a project for Daybreak, I am a lecturer in GIS and Climatology at Appalachian State University and run a small farm with my partner, Jess.
